When Tink first arrived on the fintech scene it was with modest ambitions: to help consumers understand and manage their finances. But as their ground-breaking open API rapidly created powerful, fresh opportunities in the widest range of segments imaginable, Stockholm-based Tink quickly transformed into one of Europe’s leading open banking platforms.

Kurppa Hosk devised Tink’s playful and genre-breaking brand expression back in 2017. And our relationship started up again at the beginning of 2021. This time our brief was even bigger: to reflect Tink’s new positioning and status, and to future-proof the brand ready for future transformation. By evolving the brand expression with a gentle maturity, we helped make Tink fit-for-purpose. Later during 2021, Tink was sold to VISA for USD 2.2bn.
