During 2018 and 2019, there was a notable resurgence in the sales of physical music inspired by 80s and 90s nostalgia, including vinyl records and cassette tapes. This trend particularly resonated with music enthusiasts and collectors.
Responding to this demand, Superlative introduced its inaugural product: a rechargeable and portable synthesizer, aiming to capture the essence of analog legend. To shape its enlisted the expertise of Kurppa Hosk.
Our work for Superlative has now been selected to be featured in The Most Successful Logo Designs by DesignRush, a platform known for promoting finance logo designs among others.
Securing funding by branding
Kurppa Hosk helped Superlative use branding to drive the essential funding needed to realize the new upcoming product. We did it by creating an immersive, digital experience rich in hyper-realistic renderings and saw the Space Bee sell out before it was even released, securing the cash flow needed for launch.
A reimagined brand identity heightened awareness and desirability. And a bespoke hieroglyphic naming system sparked anticipation for future drops.
